What makes Chromix posters different from regular prints?
Unlike traditional printing where ink sits on top of a surface, our artwork is permanently infused into a coated aluminium panel using extreme heat and pressure. This process is called dye sublimation. The result is vibrant, scratch resistant, water resistant art that lasts for decades.
How does the magnetic mounting work?
Each poster comes with a self adhesive magnetic pad. Peel the backing, stick the pad to your wall, and place your poster on top. It holds firmly but can be removed and repositioned without damaging your wall. No tools, no drilling, no stress.
Will it damage my wall?
No. The adhesive magnetic pad is designed to be removable. It won't peel paint or leave marks on properly painted walls. If you're renting, this is perfect for you.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer A4 (210 x 297mm), A3 (297 x 420mm), A2 (420 x 594mm), and A1 (594 x 841mm). A4 is great for a desk or compact space. A3 fits perfectly above a shelf. A2 is our most popular size. A1 makes a bold statement wall piece.
Can I upload my own photo?
Yes. Our custom metal poster option lets you upload any high resolution image (minimum 300 DPI, JPG or PNG) and we'll infuse it onto aluminium. Wedding photos, family portraits, pet shots, travel memories — anything you love.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are produced in our studio and shipped within 2 to 3 business days. Delivery takes 2 to 5 business days depending on your location in South Africa. You'll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.
What is your return policy?
Because every poster is made to order, we do not offer returns or refunds on completed orders. However, if your poster arrives damaged or defective, contact us at stephan@chromix.co.za with a photo and we'll make it right.
